Our simplest soap This one was my 93 year old grandmas favorite for her itchy and very thin skin. Also great for my teenagers struggling through their acne phase, all their friends ask for it too!.-- just finely ground oatmeal in our creamy rich soap.... All the special oils went into this bar, and we've added a couple of special aromatic oils to compliment the deep, warm, smoky, vetivert. Think damp earth, fire, and molasses. Our last version of a Vetivert bar was lovely - but this one is a bit more complex and texturally interesting, with just enough finely powdered organic oatmeal to give it a bit of heft without being too scrubby.

Smmmoooooth, creamy, lathers well, and smells mildly of dark chocolate. It should -- each bar contains nearly an ounce of pure cocoa butter, and bits of real cocoa powder, too! NOTE: the photo shows two soaps from a batch Kate made in 2000.

Nicknamed the "acne soap", this fresh, herbaceous, distinctly medicinal-scented soap is a classic from our first years in soap making -- and we've brought it back again. Smooth and dense, with lots of green clay and a strong dose of Tea Tree Oil. Not recommended for folks with dry skin.

Shea Butter, Mango Butter, bay oil, coriander, ylang ylang, and litsea essential oils, plus pretty safflower petals and lemon peel make this richer version of our famous Mango Chutney soap very special. Men love it!

Imagine a bar of our always luxurious soap -- only more so. We've added extra African Shea, and a generous dollop of Hawaiian Kukui Nut Oil to this bar, and poured in our best Patchouli and Sandalwood oils, too. Indulge a bit...this one's very special.

Our sincere apologies to our Patchouli Lovers, the oil has skyrocketed. We considered deleteing it from the line all together, but then decided to figure in the price increase and see if we can cover it. Made with a base of Exotic white tea which is picked from the high elevations of China a certain time of the year. The tea leaves are not roasted but naturally withered in the sun preserving it's very strong antioxidant characteristics. The tea is said to have 10 times more the antioxidants than Green Tea and therefore we thought your skin would love it. It is a pretty yellow with specks of green tea leaf has a Lavender aroma with a hint of Lemongrass and lathers wonderfully!

A bit of additional kukui oil rounds out this special bar, which begins as we soak out wild Atlantic kombu and nori seaweeds. The seaweeds add a distinctive feel to the lather on this one. Clary sage essential oil has a wonderfully bright, herbaceous, slightly fruity fragrance.
